The family-owned brand Baltu Rotas was founded more than 25 years ago. Today, over 20 skilled artisans have joined the original founders — jewelers Inita and Vitauts Straupe. “As the foundation of our work, we draw on the rich heritage of ancient Baltic jewelry, which continues to amaze with its shapes, patterns, and stories. We’ve also created contemporary design collections inspired by nature. Baltu Rotas pieces have traveled to every inhabited continent, and it fills us with pride to hear that people recognize a wearer’s connection to Latvia through our jewelry. We’ve even welcomed visitors from faraway countries who were inspired to travel to Riga specifically because of our pieces,” say the studio’s owners.

The Latvian brand ArtisainT was created in collaboration with Belgian designer Lena Lumelsky, a graduate of the renowned Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Her admirers include Queen Rania of Jordan, Hollywood actress Rooney Mara, singer Demi Lovato, actress and director Renata Litvinova, and other international style icons. The brand’s philosophy is to create not seasonal collections, but timeless wardrobes.
